As far as I've read, it is a pretty interesting story. I personally quite enjoy reading it. Btw, I am currently in chapter 36. I can't say that it's something you can label a gem. That would be overestimating this story. Amusing and interesting to read nonetheless. Just try reading a few chapters, and if you feel like it isn't to your taste, it's probably not for you.

I believe that what the author was trying to do at that part of the story is he wanted to make the MC express something. Albeit he wrote it in bad sort of way. A rookie mistake, maybe? Or he's just like what everyone here says, disappointing and badly written. We'll see about that in the future chapters anyways. And just like what I said, this is just the chapter one, so there is no need to be oversensitive. The future chapters would reveal if this is trash or not.

I absolutely agree with your words. I take it that what you meant to say here is that the MC boasting about his 10 years of experience in hunting, but still made a mistake which is he attracted the attention of the wolves by making a sound. But if you think of it at another angle, the horses they are riding are also making a sound. Just to remind you, there were plenty of them. So regardless, the wolves would still be attracted at one point of time here.

Why are the comments here so toxic and weird? They keep on telling the author to do this and to do that! Not to do this and not to do that! Why did they do this? and not do that? Why don't you guys just read and enjoy the story instead? Also, for goodness sake, this is just chapter 1, do you really have to be that over sensitive and with it?
