I don't know if it's just me, but i somehow don't know how to rate this fic, because I didn't hate the older fic like the others. I understand the age part, the uzu part but absolutely not the smut part. I.... sigh don't like the smut in this one, but Kai as a character felt fine to me maybe except a bit too smooth progression like all your 'old' fics that you drop and rewrite but for me it was his character that makes it difficult to read, because i grew attached to his character. Wishing him all the good things since his emotions were gone was fine for me but not this much vulnerability, again double standards I know, but this isn't a novel but a damn fanfic that doesn't need realism goddammit. All the other changes are fine for me, but Kai changing was a blow, not saying i won't read it since it's still an amazing read but I miss the old Kai and the slow updates which I'm not urging you but it's very difficult to stack chapters and I've re-read all your fics and I'm tired after doing it thrice. I don't know what i want to express since I think you've an amazing job and that makes me even more conflicted because I've never been able to read a full fic from you, truly that's one wish I have.

are there going to be more updates, cuz I really love the story but it's been a while and plot is getting draggy but I really hope you continue

man I actually don't find anything wrong with it, mito is dying and the last remaining affection was brought out by Kai and hence she changed her stance and wanted to keep him tied, I'd argue that any of us who isn't naive would do the same. she saw him as talented as he was and didn't know about the past life of his or else shed'd have realised that Kai would be stuck with them even . without it

This story has the best character development, for the MC or the side characters. He's not a great actor, doesn't have many skills since he was from the slums. But he's shameless and ruthless, which ironically is the best skillset in Hollywood. He changes gradually from sincere to utterly shameless, from a so so actor to a respectable one, from zero knowledge about movies to being able to have his own company. well I've read the mtl but this one here isn't there yet i think, if you're bored give it a try

Probably one of the best one piece fanfics around. Love the MC, the side characters and their interactions. It feels like the actual one piece characters and the fights are good too.
