Well, I see Raynare as someone who’s incredibly arrogant to the point where she’d appear in broad daylight despite the rules without worrying about consequences in a town owned by Devils. In short, her overconfidence brewed carelessness. Not only that but she was at the time facing an opponent she rightly underestimated, Issei. Well I say rightly because he had yet to fully awaken his Sacred Gear at the time. Even then Issei practically 1-shot her when he did. Added onto that, whether normal human weapons CAN kill the supernatural, well throughout the series that topic has been somewhat vague. Like there was that one guy who tried to kill Issei with seemingly normal chainsaws and seemed quite confident whilst attempting to.
