Most of the time, when I say a story is good, it is only because I find the premise interesting. So far though, this story has been genuinely a step above the vast majority of others on Webnovel. There have been parts that didn’t seem very well explained, but I can feel the effort that has been put into making something unique and well explained, for the most part. Bravo on this segue into how roots and cultivation works.
He has to actively pursue improvement, rote repetition doesn’t give him proficiency.
I came here for eldrich horror, and a “one man army” of an MC if some dumb cat becomes his pet, I’m gone.
This is good! If you were missing the live forever with bad talent novels, this is the best I’ve read! The English is actually pretty good, and he’s not instantly overpowered. He doesn’t take big risks, but also doesn’t turn his nose up at opportunities. It’s good!
Your too stuck in the way games work. People don’t reach thresholds and suddenly greatly improve; they get better slowly, and at some point, they get to the point where they demonstratedly are at another level of skill. Why *wouldn’t* he get better incrementally?
No way. Did a Webnovel MC just head off future problems by simply taking care of the problem instead of letting it fester and grow while endlessly thinking about it at all times? I’m impressed.
