Not that they shouldn't care more, it's that they simply don't care it all. It's a thought process based in hundreds of years of white supremacy and belief that the white man has no fault, and that the dark man is barbarous. Just an accurate POV. Our curriculum based on heavy emphasis in Science and Mathematics is only a result of the Cold War. The rich literally make the laws and policies through lobbying.
