i understand that this fight is there to showcase the abilities o te shadows but considering that MC already foight so many shadows id rather advance with the Story and showcase their abilities in a shorter Form or Just dont and do IT at another fight with an Antagonist or Spirit. after all there already are Like 15chaps of shadows and him fighting.

No and yes. If you didnt Change your Style from the first fight, then there are too many thoughts. The MC is thinking too much and that makes the Fight feel slow and unrealistic. Tbh its very hard to write a 1st Person fight Cuz a fight is based on instincts and muscle memory (was a boxer) naturally you also think but you dont have that much time and Reading thought in a fight slows the Speed down. You See and react but your brain doesnt realize IT. That IS why i find the Fights boring. maybe If you want to try you try writing a fight in 3rd person in private or Just ready one and compare or Take a Look at some other 1st Person Fights. but dont think too much about IT. after all IT IS a Personal opinion and i dislike Long Fights that are unnecessaryly Long compared with the fighters strength.

normally i wouldve written "tftc" but i didnt ready IT Cuz after the First fight in this novel was Just Not to my liking. too slow and unnecessary Long. too many thought Processes. and from all those chapter titles i think that this didnt Change. except for the Fights the novel is nice
