it literally doesn't make sense logically that he just transmigrated and now his only goal is to put his life in danger for people he barely even knows. Regardless of them seeming like nice people who puts their lives on the line for people they don’t know? You could argue that he needs to support his family for other gains in the future, but if that was the mc’s thought process the author would have said so.
