Manipulating someone for business related reasons or for successful negotiations isn't evil, it is common sense. I don't really think you hate a character because they are a decent person for standing up to a villain even if you like the villain. What is an example to give us a better idea it obviously doesn't need to be exact or anything just to help follow. How much more xp does he need than say if he was only a C tier talent? Considering he has only been to Origin a few times it probably isn't very relevant but it seems like he is probably getting closer to 100,000x more xp on a trip than anyone even remotely normal. From other tier 1-5 stars strength we have seen it is probably even more lol. He could probably pull closer to 1,000,000x with his rats on the third trip if so much of his xp wasn't wasted. It was a great idea by you to cap the xp though.

I like it, MC has done a few classic things to make his life harder for absolutely no reason which is annoying. Also not sure about the xp, feels like it would be essentially impossible for anyone who didn't come from a rich family to advance tiers, it is obvious there are some tricks for the rich at this point but it is still completely absurd that anyone his age is anywhere near his tier progress. Money is allowing people to advance over 1000x faster than others seems kind of nuts. Through actually killing primals getting to tier 3 sounds like some that would take closer to 100 years than 10 lol. But these are nitpicks there is plenty we don't know yet. I enjoy the story and the writing is well done
