Writing a review in the perspective of administrative and mostly behind the scenes work, I can safely say that it is meticulous in its details, from the system of government being essentially a hive mind that embraces progress, a deep and understanding view of anything related to magic, an expansive world spanning wide and far. That being said, I would wholeheartedly say that its portrayal of technological evolution is particularly special, who knew that you can use manure to produce gunpowder, or better yet, the application of magic in otherwise conventional equipment is thoroughly explored and fully realized. Also the politics is good.
I guess it's alright what else do you need me to say? Go read it, or something. Why are you still here. There are no more witty comments Go read it, smelly.
I'm a loon, and I recommend this story! If not for the characters. But the interesting plot of "I've seen enough---" jokes here ~~totally not an editor~~
*Insert obligatory 'Geneva Suggestions' here*
Second POV was something I haven't really heard about until this particular book. Aside from a few chit chat, and the fact that I'm obviously a moderator for it, you can assume what I'll say is mostly positive. And you're absolutely correct in that assumption, but put away your skepticism and trust me in saying that the reading experience certainly is interesting, whether it's good or bad, since the norm has always been third and first person POVs. With a good story setting 12,000 years into the future in a very alternate world, that is also very very very VERY desolate of human life, other races present themselves as the clear dominant species. Following our comedically named MC, Long Leggy, into a very distant place, we learn that there may be more than humanoid dragons and owls, monsters, and sometimes, maybe even meet someone that isn't a total jerk.
"If worse comes to worse their might even be a side-plot involving detectives carefully examining the cadaver because pens don't have similar characteristics to bear teeth." - Binocular
A suitable entry in an otherwise generic-filled website, I mean, most aren't bad, but they couldn't be called good too. Might be an exception, or my personal biases, but this one does have features that greatly elevate some of the reading experience, with characters that might still feel like generic Webnovel-Type characters but makes up for it with a more interesting background for most, like Mother-----I mean, MF, the protag. It's an overall interesting read. Also, side note, Uh... I'm one that mostly likes my book pure and—non explicit but, SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEGS
Duly noted!
I still can't believe there's Russians 12,000 years into the future
We heavily appreciate the review, and will tell our slavema--- I mean, boss of this! Also, please don't expect much from me in terms of posting, because I barely get anything done when not working under a deadline.
