On the writing side, as hard as it's probably gonna be not to, resting entirely is probably going to atrophy your creative muscles and maybe you'll face a wall after your recovery, trying to continue but getting stuck more and it could frustrate you. Personally, after getting into an accident like that, I wouldn't even bother writing a note longer than a sentence out pure exhaustion, but I'm not a creative, and I've never gotten into an accident like this, so I wouldn't know what it feels like. Nobody would blame you for having a longer hiatus after recovery (I know I wouldn't).

ChatGPT says it will hurt significantly less in a week or two (the nerves that got burned will start to heal), the wound would start to fade in a couple months and hurt even less, and it will scar and get smaller in half a year, to a year's worth of time. Depends on where you got burnt, how wide the are was, how deep, etc... Factor that influence the healing are how fast you got help, not having the scar facing direct sunlight, protecting it with sunscreen, moisturizing, yada yada yada. In conclusion you just have to wait and see 💀💀
