Doing stuff like what exactly? Simply put, this woman has been barring him from seeing his sister(who he loves romantically and mutually sees her as more than that. A soulmate), only allowing them to meet once a month. Not to mention her treatment of him in his early years of servitude which included using him with him not having any means to fight back. Thus a situation like this would occur where there's a dissonance and a harsh feeling. If you read further, this is resolved somewhat.
