Yeah, he can't read minds, he's just very observant of their mannerisms and can hear their heartbeats. Plus he naturally doesn't trust others

His body processes nutrients differently than ours. He gets a lot from the air, dry foods, and alcohol. But he doesn't need a lot of other kinds of food.
