I am talking about the initial 3 wolves. How did he fool there senses? If you say that it is due to the bloody scent of the bear, then they should find him even quicker since he possess that bloody scent as well and moreover he is too far away from the corpse so his scent would feel abnormal to them. Thereby finding him easily. Moreover his unique scent mixed with the scent of the bear and a bit of nature would be too hard to ignore for a wild animal like a wolf.
