He's not against your novel, he's against the way your promoting it. you don't just go onto someone else's novel and tell their readers to read your novel because it 'needs to go viral', that isn't how it works. you need to put in hard work to promote your novel, like maybe get good at writing so that it does actually go viral like you want it to.

The OP is talking about the first bits of the story that the author knows it has plot holes in it, but does nothing to fix them. He says this makes the author look lazy seeing how he did not deny knowing plot holes in the first 20 or so chapters but did nothing to correct them. sure he fixed them, (I assume from your comment) but he did this later in the story and not when the story started.
