I don't think that should be impossible though. The foundation you set for magic in this book makes it flexible. We have seen Dunter Voss teaching the students about magic essence and how to manipulate it. According to that lesson, it seems possible to also manipulate magic essence in its purest form, such as shielding/enhancing one's body or item with pure mana. From that, it seems possible to utilize simple magic, but more advanced if one's talent is geared towards that.

if he make use of the system, he should be able to set situations up for it to grant him missions. +2 to all stats is quite large afterall
