The more I know about this world the more distopian it feels. It's a world that has been worn down by war till there was nothing but that, no real culture no music nor any entertainment that is not just milliraty probaganda that has been twisting society for so long that nothing else remained. It feels like it's a world in mourning that has forgotten how to move past the sorrow of all that has been lost. History, culture and celebrations have all but died. I think that is also why I enjoy the story, it feels like reading about a world healing from the sorrow it has been trapped in for 10.000 years
