Had Kiritsugu made bad decisions in life? Almost all of them. Was he a jerk with no social skills? Most of the time. A questionable father and husband? Absolutely… But he was a phenomenal assassin — more than phenomenal, really, so much so that Alaya had personally "hired" him for her kennel.
