I mean, you don't need to be an ornithologist to know you don't mess with chickens, so why would you need to be a marinologist-nope! that sounds like a scientist who studies marinades! - marine biologist to know that you don't mess with shark-jousting, gang-r***ng dolphins? They're not quite orca evil, but they're getting there.
Perhaps "He noticed a distinct/marked/substantial/statistically significant/major/particular/noteworthy..."?
Every time the author has used "Madness", even though I know it refers to "Insanity", or more like "Inspiration of the Insane" or "Crazy Genius", some part of my brain somewhere, without fail, whispers "he's an Angry Scientist! His name is Angora, the Angry Scientist!" and I have to spend a couple seconds to try and stop myself from giggling.
Did...he not just last chapter put the Basilisk King back into the hibernation zone? Did I miss Sylas pulling his massive snake out again?

I shall not pretend to understand the importance of a breakthrough(largely as my only gauge is based off of Gracie, from The Nanny), but I figure it's probably a good thing, so 🥳 happy for you! may there be as many more as are needed for your mental health to improve, but only as frequently as you are able to handle without the emotional turbulence driving you too much past mild/minimum mental fatigue. In other words, may your progress be constant and cumulative. And, perhaps, less life-and-death, do-or-die than Rhishi's breakthroughs? ^_^ And good chapter. Glad to see how quickly Rhishi was reminded of why the sisters shouldn't have evoked quite as much near-positive emotion as they did, lol.
