The Adventures of Siegfried Solomon

A ROB going through his predecessor's files comes across an interesting box of prototypes for the project that got them promoted in the first place. The ROB decides to test them out, curious about what they would do. Now he only needs a world and a guinea pig to test them on. Meet Ziggy Solomon, with equal parts athlete and nerd; he happily works a nine to five, goes home to read from his bookshelves of manga and light novels, works on his programming passion project, and, on the weekends, runs marathons for fun with his girlfriend. I hate him. Fortunately, he's dead now. Having fallen over after leaning back too far in his chair while reading the latest release of 'Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?' and cracking his head against the corner of an exercise bike. Ziggy finds himself in what looks like a standard waiting room, complete with a stale smell and elevator music. ............................................. This is fanfiction. I own nothing but the MC and other OCs... if that. Yes, there will be a Harem. No, I don't know who will be in it. There will be some other OCs in it, and there will be some of the familiar faces. Will the MC be overpowered? Probably... no, wait, looking at the reincarnation bonuses, there is no doubt he'll be OP, but not in the 'I can destroy the world with one finger,' OP. Lemony goodness? Yep. Hence the R18 tag and the NC17 warning. System? Nope. Falna is good enough. So, yes, he'll join a Familia; it's kind of the way in Danmachi. Whose? Now that would be telling. Have fun. It's fanfic, don't take it too seriously. Read the Author's Notes at the end of the chapters. I put questions and stuff there. I don't do it in the body because it messes with the word count, and I think that's cheating.

My System is a Tabletop RPG I Never Finished Designing

After an uneventful life, an aging geek dies in a most ignoble of ways only to be offered the chance to try again and live, with at least fewer regrets. Restarting life complete with wish-fulfilling parameters to help him along. The first one is to have a system based on a TTRPG that he'd been puttering around designing for the last decade. Looking forward to correcting some of his mistakes, our erstwhile MC should have read the fine print. ------------------------------------------------------------------- I wanted to have more chapters ready before I put anything out, but then this Writing Prompt hit all the buttons, so... I'm still new at this and often bounce around to various projects. If it does okay, I'll keep it at a higher priority.

Black Wings and Shiny Things

Dying alone choking on your own blood with broken bones and torn flesh sucks. Being helpless tears at the soul. In this twilight of her far too young life, Morgan silently screams her despair to heaven. To hell. To anyone that will listen. In the end, it is a simple crow that answers her call. Answers her loneliness. As the darkness consumes her the last shred of Morgan is plucked from her corpse and flown somewhere farther than the very edge of the universe. A fragment of thought, a remnant of will, asks in wonder where she's going under these black wings. A shining palace of obsidian and silver beneath ebon cawing clouds, where an empress with onyx eyes and knowing smiles offers a chance. But nothing comes without a cost. And she will have to decide if living is worth her life.

Are You Serious With This?

Who did I piss off to be reincarnated as a rock? I mean, I can't eat, sleep, see, hear, smell, or any of the normal daily activities of most sentient beings. I can't even rub one out, because I have nothing to rub or rub with. But here I am existing as a thought bound by my hard unfeeling exterior. I'm not even sure how big I am. I could be a huge raging hard rock or a pebble on a beach. The only reason I know I'm a rock is because of this stupid display that never changes.
