Honestly, you always promise the story will get better. The MC will grow, but as of 300 chapters, it felt like he didn't change at all. Introduction is always the most important part of an essay. If the intro is poorly written like this, even if you promise a good body, no one would wanna risk $50 for it. Rex character development is so poorly written that it feels like he's either super indecisive in the mid-20s or a hypocrite the whole time. The novel feels so much like a teen drama. It's honestly very hard to imagine someone who dedicates his whole life to power suddenly became a simp. Like, are there 0 women in the military? If he is capable of ignoring everything and dedicating his life to training and power, stop making his confused about women. You seem to portray him as ruthless but soft at the same time, which is very, very contradicting. Like his whole back story feels so meaningless if you just let him spare the elf family after slaughtering the whole tribe which is weird when non of those supernatural he hate showed any mercy, what happened to become a monster to kill a monster. I feel like you only pretend to know what a monster is based on Rex. It started with so much potential but butchered it to drag the story out. Details are good, but I feel like you focus on the wrong details. And since you already written over 1000+ chapters, there probably isn't any hope that the story'll improve anytime soon, and blindly reading, hoping it'll get better, would be a waste of money.
Legit, why was she there in the first place? See trail of high ranking awaken but still decide to investigate? Why didn't Edward do anything? Big strong military train man can't restrain a weak untalented girl? Legit so many plot holes, the Auther abused coincidence too much. Rosie legit coincidentally happened to be there when Rex's really didn't need distraction just for the sake of distraction? And what the hell is up with this grown ass virgin and all the cockblock every time? Legit, the author is just milking everyone expectation until the story drops rating so hard he'll have to make things official. Also, Rex's the biggest hypocrite in the whole story. Saying he'll kill all supernatural since day one only to keep sparing them and bringing trouble. There should be enough hatred in him to even kill babies supernatural if the author keeps emphasizing his hatred and past, but always fails to maintain it. And saying no lies between the people he trusts but lies to everyone on a daily basis, even to a best friend he said would give his life for him? He keeps not being able to make up his mind about girls, admitting he has feelings for one but can't let go of the other even when she used him when he was vulnerable. Like that's ok as long as the woman initiated it? That's the equivalent of drugging someone to make them super horny so they attack you. Why is Rex treating it as such a normal occurrence when he was state in his mind he hated it and it fucked him up mentally? The MC is really pathetic imo.
Segg! Segg! Segg!
The author has a major issue with power scaling. His other novels MC power scale are also always all over the place
He's able to conjure a spell to block Beatrix, a rank 6, but could never react to a rank 2-3?
Lol how can you understand that but also consciously apply that to your sister?
I'm confused here, so the sword has 5 moves, but it's a sword drawing arts that focused on an attack when drawing the sword. So, are the 5 moves 5 different ways to draw, or are they 4 different moves to link with the first drawn, like the act of drawing is one move, after that move their is a pattern of 4 more moves before he have to sheath it again.
I find it odd, too. So is he going to start showing dominance now? It's like he's hiding but showing at the same time. Plus shouldn't he be 32 or something, why is he literally acting like a kid, I get the raging hormones part from before and it's logical, but the fact that he triggered and picks fights with almost everyone villain he ever interacted with is a bad way to not stand out. And now he even acts and thinks like a child with some of his internal dialogs and the confused questioning of his situation.
