Whew, that was a long arc. Finally, we reached the end everybody was probably expecting. Haha. Originally, when I made the character of Peng Xiling, it was supposed to be a guy and a rival for Wu Qianyu. Sort of the cliche effeminate guy that might have tried to woo Qianyu and annoyed the MC. However, a few hundred chapters in, I got the bright idea to switch up the cliche into the woman who dresses as a man, a classic in Chinese period dramas. I felt that it was more interesting. And more hi-jinks will follow with Peng Lingxi with her habit of dressing as a man and cause the MC lots of problems. :D

It used to be that but that was an error on my part as the origin of Dugu's 10th sword was described much earlier as coming from another ruins. Therefore, I had to fix this chapter and the reward is just a very large camouflaging spatial bag.

A update on my third project, which is a pet cultivation novel. I have started writing chapters and pretty soon, I will releasing some public chapters. Look forward to it!

I just wanted to announce that I have just reached a total of 1 million words written in my writing career. Combining advance chapters on patreon as well as The Treasure King, I recently just broke milestone! I never thought I would reach this point and I am pretty happy about it. Also, this is a good time to announce that I have been working on a third project which will be a pet cultivation story. Not exactly sure when I will release public chapters of the first draft but keep an eye out for more news soon!

Good point. The matter of the MC's real age has been a bit of a plot hole for a long time. I am thinking of editing some of the earliest chapters to address this. But for purposes of plot and antagonists, my intention is that people aren't exactly sure of his real age. This is an ancient and wild world so ppl aren't going to be tracking other people's birthdays. Nobody has birth certificates or anything. So, it is fine to just assume that these people assume he looks very young but that he is using some kind of body modification art.
