What's up with people following the plot? I never understood that concept. This guy literally was fighting for his life a couple minutes or hours before that, and now he wants the plot to go as usual when he knows that fate will always find a way to steer to the original destination. A normal person would be like I'm gonna steal every opportunity certain character gets in a certain time. If you want the OG timeline to take place from every little detail to the big things, then just save yourself the trouble and offed yourself. I've only read one SS fanfic where even I don't know what's gonna happen because the MC isn't afraid to actually change major things just for the plot to be the same as in the original.

Your sypnosis is good. The thing is, although Shadow Slave is a popular Webnovel, it's still just only just a Webnovel. When the manwha/manga comes out, and hopefully an anime adaptation, then Shadow Slave will become really popular. You can't really compare your fanfiction with other popular stories on this site as all of them already have a big fanbase, so if you're expecting the story to be in the top 10 then I don't think it's gonna happen anytime soon.

You're doing great right now. One way to make your story pop off is changing the picture into something that will stand out even more. For example, the common way that authors do is a picture of someone beautiful or a picture of that someone in a provocative way. Another way is a exotic picture like the picture of the OG Shadow Slave of Sunny in his attire.

Author, I really like that you actually do your research on the SS story. An advice that I keep giving to SS authors is that don't be afraid to change things in the story. For example, maybe in this story, Caster won't die, and he has to come to terms with his failed mission when he gets back to his family (I always felt that he has more potential than some major characters in the story). Another piece of piece of advice I can give you is that during each major arc ending of SS, there are always big things happening that will catapult into the next arc and also the consequences of making a choice whether good or bad. I hope you do something similar. For example, maybe something happened, and the monsters that live in America suddenly start going to other continents and start attacking humans there, further making people feel hopeless at their circumstances.
