this is a pretty good web novel, that ultimately disappoints in the end. The translation quality is very bad, with names and genders getting switched around. the story itself starts off good; however, about 2/3 through the pacing of the story accelerates...in a bad way. it's like the author got tired of writing this novel and wanted to rush to finish it. Characters that were once staples, disappear into thin air, Story loose ends are not closed, and the MC becomes unbeatable over night. I only gave three stars because the beginning of the novel was enjoyable, felt like I wasted my time in the end.

Wang Wayan is probably the worst character in this novel. I honestly hope the author kills her off sooner than later. She has no character growth and has literally no personality.

This book is just a take on shadow slave, a book also on web novel. Writing quality is above average and there aren't any glaring grammatical errors. The real issue with this story is the MC, he is dumb as crap. The MC also has a pretty dislikable personality and the naivety of a five year old. I stopped around chapter 50 and probably won't continue. Overall this isn't bad for a knockoff of shadow slave.

much prefer her over the girl next door. the wang girl has almost no personality, at least cai is refreshingly bold.

it's not about farming at all, he does no farming (planting, husbandry, etc...) he has farm related weapons.

Story is quite mediocre, but the writing isn't bad in spite of a few errors here and there. The character progression at the beginning is too fast, by chapter 30 he is already defeating a descended God. Ever life or death situation he overcomes with heavy plot armor usage, and the antagonist might as well break their own necks. I'm the beginning the MC demonstrates as an asexual Chinese protagonist, but is later portrayed as someone who wants to fuck his sister 🤮. As mentioned above this character is your cliche Chinese protagonist who wants to ascend heaven. it's okay for a light read, but between the character pacing and ridiculous use of plot armor, will probably get old sooner rather than later. last but not least, beware of these five star reviews on any novel, they are generally misleading.

I'm coming from Elyon's other book, 'Strongest Necromancer of Heavens Gate,' which I highly recommend. However, this book so far is very lackluster and inorganic. This story feels more like a side project than an actual project. Nonsensical things happen just to move the story along. I know the story just started, but this one seems like it's going to be one of the author's worst works.

I'm so confused why he hasn't told anyone about candy. There is such a focus on catching the mastermind instead of just foiling the plot.
