At this point. I don't even know who is who. I kinda skip this chapters and the other. I kinda only really care about the mc a this point. The thing is you tried to get us the know about these characters but we don't. We as readers know there are a lot of people at this auction that we don't care about. Either they are cannon foddler or somebody who supposed to be important later on. It's not wrong to give side characters time to shine but we don't know them. So we really don't care about them. Now if Adam had interact with them before the auction and we a readers probably would have cared just a Lil bit. You could have had Adam meet them just as a business man to try to recruit them unsuccessfully. Then everything could have went down like it did with him hiding his identity then doing a big revelation. They could have solidified the connection to Rome and Hunter association. That would have gave us a reason to want to read these side fight that don't have our mc in them. We on this site have read a lot of stories and a lot of the time we get Stockholm syndrome when we are not with the Mc of the stories we read. Give us a reason to care about these people. It's probably to late to change it now, but going forward think about as you write. Then again I'm not a professional, just somebody who like to read when they are not watch dramas.
