Kara's Illya is AU; I just took some elements from Fate to give her near-limitless magic, so she doesn’t need to rely on siphoning it from places like dark dimensions. As for the Root, I'm ignoring it for now. I have some ideas about how to implement it later, but I don’t want to get too entangled with the Root since the Nasuverse isn’t the overarching universe here, so I don't want to get too entangled with its lore.

I don't think that Kryptonians exposed to the yellow sun need to eat or drink. But she hasn't been exposed yet, so we are going with she still needs to eat and drink, human reference is just because well Kryptonians look human, and she just awakened her memories
