The male lead that MC marries in the end gets less screen time than the ex husband. This story’s plot line is not a love story, it’s how MC deals with the annoying exhusband throughout the book. I am 467 ch in and I have really tried to finish this but I can’t deal with the annoying characters anymore. They are all cockroaches and come back in the stupidest of ways. I peaked at the last chapter and the exhusband is there too. The last chapter is rushed and was quickly written so the author can finish the book and move on with their life. Save yourself the frustration. Skip the book.
Very bad ending. It was all cleaned up in 2 chapters, with plenty of loop holes. Seems like the author hated the story and just wanted to finish it and move on with their life.
Is it Lin Mo, that creepy guy with a crush on his boss?
Yesss After so many “fake/real daughter returns with many identities”, we have a variation on the beloved trope. I still love the trope, but it’s so refreshing to see a spin on it. Where the daughter returns and is clueless about her parents’ wealth, though they make no efforts to hide it. I only read to ch 40 but I’m excited for the rest of the story. Male lead is fine as well. He kept himself pure for the MC but is interesting enough in his own right. Some aspects of his character are obviously created to suit the story (like how his autism is “cured”?) but I’m willing to ignore that bit for now.
I liked the old names. The new names just feel out of place after so many chapters
Oh yes, please. This is a plot twist I accept with all my heart
There’s only 40 chapters so I can’t say anything about story development or updating stability. What is uploaded, however, is new and interesting. I’m very intrigued with the plot line, and the world that has been constructed. It’s new, yet a little familiar. It’s got some cute and funny moments at the beginning and the world building happens as the MC learns more about her world so you aren’t bombarded with information Definitely give this a try and I hope it makes it out of trial!
Thank you for this review, I read the raws up until the end of the first volume, aka car crash. I was scared of the typical amnesia plot so didn’t continue it. Thank goodness I didn’t. I just wanted a happy cute, fluffy story, not a drama.
I tried. I think I gave this story a good shot, since I read all the way up to ch 305. The quality of the writing has stayed the same. It’s way too fast-paced and the world is not built at all. I barely register the world. Each conflict takes like 5 ch to resolve and each chapter is very short. The story should be fleshed out more. There is no suspense in anything, and I could not care about the characters anymore. The characters are very flat, and the children only appear in the beginning. They pop up now and again but act way too weird, even for geniuses. The ML is trusts the MC way too much and too easily for someone given his position and how he was claimed to act ij the past. The relationship between multiple characters are messy and the villains don’t have any other motive for what they do other than “I hate the MC” which by now, doesn’t feel like it’s enough. Since I don’t know what the raw is like, I can only assume the translation is good as it can be, and the original story is messy itself.
This is my review as of ch 40, will update if it gets selected. I really hope it does too! Like many others, I’m a big fan of farming novels, and though we spend a long time getting there, it’s interesting enough. At 40, my interest is in how the MC moves on with her life and begins to rebuild her future. This might be a bit slow compared to other novels but I believe that a good story needs a solid foundation. Here’s to hoping that it gets selected!
