Literally Sunny when he finds the technicality
I imagine most of the time they'd wear the clothing in the shape of one of those suits from blue lock type thing. these things.
I forgot to mention but crowd tactics won't work easily, if 20 people gang up on them it scales to the ability they need to fight 20 people.
I like to hypothesize characters for verses I like. especially ones like this that give powers and drawbacks. makes it extra fun. I got one. Their true name is Reverse Scale. obviously you recognize the phrase. here it means the obvious, but also to reverse the scales. their flaw is the inability to equip and non legacy gear, meaning all battles they fight are bare handed and without armor or echoes. their only legacy gear is a piece of clothing that can freely change shape to any type of clothing, and can't be destroyed. it doesn't provide protection it just prevents them from being naked. that's the only gear they get, besides that nothing. their ability is that their physical ability scales to match the opponent they're facing. whatever amount they would need to fight the enemy on equal footing is what they get. it's not overwhelming strength, and it scales downwards too. meaning all battles are a matter of skill not rank. making all battles hard fought. I think it sounds pretty fun. if I had to name a God that this legacy would be under, it would probably be the God of War. from their description they seem the most fitting. I had fun with this
this is what it means to go even further beyond!
I imagine it's similar to how in a forest trees will bend to reach the nearest source of light, and any plants unfortunate enough to be in a place completely covered by larger trees will die. the trees that bend but don't break will remain, and trees that got screwed by evolution and grew too stiff will snap. the older trees are just leftovers of this process. I imagine certain islands with the longest chains rise too high for any trees to grow there. so we might have islands that are devoid of large plant life in favor of things like grass, shrubs, vines, and other such plants that are much lighter.
oh so when he speeds up he's literally speeding up, not just physical motion but the time itself on his body. interesting
castor is really bout to be his final shard
I'm really excited for them to step out of pods after having experienced this nightmare, cause like they said these are the most powerful dormant group to ever walk the world, two worlds even! Every other dormant gets a handicap being transported near cities and had their hand held by other awakened. These are battle hardened warriors, from the first nightmare(following the initial awakening) they've already been through as much as people two stages above them have seen or more.
yeyeyey
How do you become a legend, die spectacularly. that's some night city logic right there, which is dead accurate.
this was what I was thinking, for the wings. is when you need to run the hover function can reduce friction and you can just kick on the ground. you used it similarly just now with the bird. just hover like an inch or so above the ground maybe less
fun way to "see nothing" is to close one eye but not the other. what do you see out of your closed eye? no thing.
this guy's been wandering around the oceans for thousands of years I imagine he's had plenty of encounters with the sea creatures before
come on give your boyfriend a gift
if 100 people stay as tenants, and they pay 1 shard every week. that's 400 shards a month from just rent! jeez I didn't even think about it until now. along with having his own hunters who are more skilled, but require pay obviously, I wouldn't be surprised if he made over a thousand in total along with all the products his artisans make. this man can powerlevel someone to max shards in one month.
even if caster was moving at let's say 1/4 of the speed, he would be faster in a fight with another human. cause distance is the main issue. this guy is as big as a house the distance between his claw and the person is further. you have more time to telegraph the attack as compared to the several feet between you and caster. this doesn't make either one any less quick. like a ball and a car both going 40mph. but a ball going from a pitcher to home base versus seeing a car driving down the street. visually the difference is stark even though the speed is the same, I think is the difference here. though maybe I'm wrong.
they mentioned most first time nightmares aren't insanely difficult, and most people who get through it were prepared since young just in case. she probably got a normal scenario like being part of a group of adventurers, waking up in a city, or something like that. not absolute despair like our MC and the star of change.
i just realized, he could also get a mask that blocks sound. he would still be saying the truth.
I mean at the very least his weakness isn't something like light where it can directly kill him. you still have to be stronger than him to kill him cause his flaw is telling the truth. now that cab apply to battle a bit by asking questions like, "what's your next attack going to be" or something like that. but in a fight there's little chance to make use of that information. so at the very least his flaw can't be taken advantage of in that way as long as he finds a good master he'll be safe
