I see… glossed over mention of school life n stuff being a primary focus of the story. I did read daichi’s character description b4 I started the story so I came in expecting not just focus on baseball itself, but just felt the pace of how their relationship progressed was a little too fast. Especially because it was so in contrast with the rest of the cast being more “blurry?”. I get the reasoning with the current teammates not being off much significance, and that’s fairs since you seem to be building the story up for high school baseball to be the true start since that’s when he’ll be back as the pitcher. Nothing against that, but it does make certain moments seem “isolated” like no teammate questioning why he’s no longer the ace or even a pitcher, andhim trying out for a different position. And yah, my opinion on the story would most likely be whole lot different in relation to a full arc, or volume. Now, it’ll be weird if I judged the whole book off that specific criticism in just the start of the book, but this is just my opinion on that specific moment(s)/ chapter.

Feels like this whole bromance is a ya too forced, so much that it’s clearly been the main plot of the story so far instead of the game itself. Would’ve been much better to do this slowly throughout a season instead of trying squeeze them together in order to get them ready as a future battery. And then the fact that other than the shortstop he doesn’t seem to have any real interaction with anyone else on the team even though he was their ace just the year prior? In the context of anyone who’s been on a team nothing really makes sense. Feels like the author’s purposely muted out the rest of the cast in order to force these two into a bromance first

I don’t know why he’s keeping this as such a big secret. Not letting the team know or even his father. Makes no sense. If anything since he was their ace and the prominent player on the team the year before he has a responsibility to address it instead of him teammates being confused. Much less the fact that he somehow thinks he can just go on without teammates knowing? Makes no sense at all…. Or even more than that the simple fact that somehow to get ready for tryouts he didn’t think to practice even simple fielding so much so that he didn’t know he could throw a ball properly to base?

Yah this would be the best. Even better if S+ isn’t just having great speed, but literally being the peak of that certain attebute and whatever level you play(or in a very close discussion for it). Most agile(prob a shortstop?) player in middle school baseball= S in agility

Naruto should be considered more dangerous the AoT. In AoT only two nations really were in danger of crqzy fights till the rumbling, and even that you could escape from and be refugees. In naruto every single person was one fight outcome away from becoming nutrition to a tree. And then there’s the fact that shinobi skirmishes happen constantly outside of that.

Yah that’s what I meant tho. A Yamamoto who has mastered his zampakuto and powers more that the version of him yhwach feared. But still not fully peaceful and with his killer instinct would be scary. And that was prob around the middle of the 1000 year period yhwach was sealed. Where he was committed to becoming stronger and hadn’t settled down to be peaceful yet.

Crazy part is that Yamamoto’s raw power was so strong that he defeated the quinces without his bankai. Which means he still wasn’t close to mastering his power back then. Crazy how strong a true “prime” Yamamoto with the will to destroy that yhwach talked about would be. Prob around the middle of that 1000 year period where he already had his powers fully mastered, yet hadn’t gotten fully rusty and peaceful

Ima make a prediction. The MC will somehow do something that will get all these events happening just enough before it’s canon timeline enough for the enemies to be at full power+ and/or fairy tail members to not be at their canon power yet. Or something will happen to most of these “arc villains” to raise their power just enough for it to balance out fairy tail having Adam. All this “ima wait for the right time” is bs, one I wouldn’t mind if it was kept, but we all know that ain’t gonna happen.

Biggest advantage is the influence and power. If the MC isn’t going to use it he shouldn’t take the position. And no matter how much they’re paid it’s completely reasonable… 100% guarantee that some of the strongest wizards would come to your aid when requested is crazy enough to be immeasurable in value

See? This makes no sense. Adam is supposed to have a crazy amount of magic power that he can’t even handle, and last time when he was almost out of it is when he finally did the overload and killed a god. So why can his power just not refill to the max capacity of his body constantly. Why does he keep running low of magic is fights? Why is it after a strong kido, or a strong sword move he comments that he’s running low, or in this case his running low because his magic power was drained? And a lot of magic power of someone with his amount? That’s just stupid

For someone with a crazy amount of magic he seems to run out of it and have stamina problems quite often. It’s getting to boruto era sasuke levels

U don’t gain god slayer magic because you killed a god in fairy tail. Just like somehow who killed a dragon doesn’t get dragon slayer magic. It’s just that gods who are normally not affected by most magic can be affected by godly magic, and therefore a mortal using godly magic is able to kill them and thus a god slayer. Same for dragons who are resistant to most normal magic and vulnerable to their own dragon magic, and thus a mortal with dragon magic is a dragon slayer. It MC’s case his magic revolving around “souls” as he explained to Mavis should make it affective against all types… neither gods nor dragons should have a natural resistance towards it like they do gainer most normal magics

Author, I have a suggestion for bankai. First that it grants multiple abilities like Yamamoto. Especially since their activation phrase is so similar. Btw main inspiration for this idea is gojo satori from jjk. First is that just like Yamamoto has his invisible flames around him, Adam has infinity like gojo satoru. It’s not as op as ppl think especially because it’s not passive and only during bankai. Any move that can nullify magic/ absorb magic not through touching the practitioner but the magic itself would get though infinity. For example, gildarts could “crush” would destroy infinity if he had a large advantage over Adam in magic power. The rest of the abilities are based around the idea of “domain expansion” in jjk. Essentially adam’s bankai creates a localized space where he has complete control over space. First would be alternative to Yamamoto’s “one touch kill” with his sword. And that’s the fact that every strike by his sword becomes a sure hit(like any domain in jjk). Opponents can still tank it, but not dodge. Even if they’re standing 20 ft away and Adam swings his sword in front of him they still get cut, this is obviously through spacial manipulation. Second is he has the ability for quick teleportation with almost no effort within this localized space. His ace and final move could be a proper spacial/dimensional slash ignoring all defense and instead cutting the whole space around the target…….. and this last one is completely out there… but with the wonky relationship between time/space he could possibly have an ability that allows him to have an infinite time loop within his localized space(that can be shattered from the outside as a weakness) but allows him to keep an overwhelming enemy inside and gives allies time to prepare.

Best guess is that you need the foundational knowledge to truly use it. It’s like zanryu has all the high level knowledge to make gigai that are specific to what soul society have in addition to our regular science, but without the regular science there’s nothing to build off of. Second is that since it’s the fairy tail world whoever is using this knowledge also has to have some understanding of the magic/medical science of that world in addition to implement it. Another reason could be that transfer can’t be done between zanryu and Adam because they are already the same soul, since by stabbing zanryu was essentially dumping knowledge into her soul, and since there’s no separation of her soul into a zampakuto she received it straight. Meanwhile for a shinigami any spiritual energy or knowledge impartanr though the “stab” method automatically gets absorbed by their already “split” part of the soul that’s their zampakuto.

I really hope it’s not ryne. But everything so far points to her. A cape, the ability to go unseen by poeple(her ability using nether). If it is her I’m guessing it’s her mastering controlling her body again similar to how she spoke through her before.
