All the names changed up for some reason, thought it was an accident at first but it looks like it’s not. Unfortunate

How come the cousin’s name changed midway to the same as the mom? He used to be Xu Laoying, now he is Xu Shuhei

Good story so far, although the switch to first person is a bit strange, it doesn’t seem like an inner monologue but like telling the story as Chen Miao

Well, maybe he will be able to still practice his spear techniques since that doesn’t require any Qi or Laws. I know he applied Laws to his spear techniques, but since he always has been striving for peak spear techniques, maybe he’ll be able to upgrade his Laws that way since he can’t do it the normal way. Not that he did before I don’t think.

I think if Michael’s lines had punctuation at the end, it would make it better. Right now, it just seems like his sentences cut off suddenly and doesn’t really drive home the tone that is trying to be made here. The lines are alright, but gonna need the punctuation to make up for it. Regardless, the story is going well so far.
