The Cyndaquil inside this egg already had the potential the other one would most likely have at the end while he was still at the starting line. Not only that, but he also had a talent. Granted it was a rather "mundane" one that mirrored its namesake ability Flame Body, but that did not change the fact that he did have a useful talent. Still, the fact that Cyndaquil had a very good chance to end up with light purple potential once he hatched was quite a bit more attention-grabbing to me. I seriously hoped that he would be the one who ended up successfully fulfilling my expectations with this eggsperiment. Well, unless there was an even more impressive egg among the final two.

This was due to his abnormal level of chakra which made his body stronger to sustain that amount of chakra.

~Based on what I could gather from Kobra's men as I tied them up, they were making some kind of bio-weapon,~ I replied, taking a deep breath as I leaned forward. ~The suitcase is full of whatever they were trying to make. Sadly, I couldn't stop Sportsmaster from escaping with one of the vials... I honestly didn't even see him open the suitcase, but it seems he did at some point.~
