The more he bonds with his armour and adapts. Maybe he'll unlock a full potential mode. You know overall boost in all stats but the main perk is increased ability to adapt. But it has a cool down of like a week or a month. Like the ultimate teigu move

True still the same energy of the place he is born at but it's also slightly different. besides power wise it wouldn't be too op given that it would be far more draining then regular portal making

The left over energy was partially absorbed by the armour and now he is able to shoot out energy blasts through the armour or his spear

A random idea is when he makes a full size portal. Incursio is telling Liam to absorb the energy from the sling ring and as he does the armour gets some additional markings across it allowing him when he's wearing the armour to teleport It's main function would be for short range combat but he can do long range teleporting but it would take a lot out of him since the armour would be more draining compared to the sling ring

Nice chap and interesting development of how his spear can gain specific abilities. Would be ironic Liam meets Thor and he gets stuck by his lighting and this time his armour changes and all Liam says is "Godspeed"

If Liam had incursio with him and summoned the armour wouldn't it slightly evolve a bit? It would be kinda cool each dimension he went too his armour adapted a bit to the new dimension as it gains some new passive or active abilities like in Hell it would get a flame added onto his spear etc

Meanwhile the next battle Liam is going to throw some dirt into his eye... Then give that smug response "Expect the Unexpected in a battle old man"
