It initially captivates readers with its intriguing premise, but unfortunately it falls short of its potential. While the storyline begins with promise, the narrative gradually becomes drawn-out and loses momentum. Another aspect that disappointed me was the repetitive nature of the female villains' schemes. Despite their potential for complexity and depth, their actions consistently lack originality, making them feel one-dimensional. Moreover, the ending feels rushed and hastily written. It appears as though the author tied up loose ends without providing adequate resolutions to important conflicts and unanswered questions. This undermines the reader's investment in the story and leaves a feeling of dissatisfaction. Ultimately, this had potential, but failed to live up to it. The dragging narrative, repetitive villainous schemes, and hastily done ending left me wanting more. While the initial concept was interesting, the execution fell short. Although some readers may find elements to enjoy, I would caution those seeking a satisfying and complete reading experience to look elsewhere.
The story is the same as the author's other novel "Lady Gu is too weak to fend for herself". The names of the characters were just changed. No wonder I kept feeling like I've already read this story before.
This story feels really familiar. I feel like I've already read this but with different character names... 🤔
I didn't read this for a while, I paused at around 1500+ chapters and I just finished it now. Is this really how the book ends? It feels like the author ended this hastily. 😟 There were still questions left unanswered.
Go brother!
The audacity 😤
So fun! 😆
boom!

Maybe GZ and GY are really biological brothers? Sons of the dead Mrs. Lu?
