Great scene, the complex emotional nuances surrounding this situation and the characters were portrayed touchingly. An interesting point to note is the use of genjutsu here, I wonder if it was used as part of psychological treatments for people with certain disorders or as an emotional crutch that many ninjas secretly rely on to stay sane under all the stress.

Wow, she really got nerfed hardcore here. Even when she regains lost levels, she'll still have a net negative stat point balance unless something extraordinary happens. The advantage is the class and the bonuses from equipping items I guess.

Wow, I didn't realize it had only been two months. Even so, Naruto has already grown a lot and become much stronger, without the party system, it would be almost impossible for the secondary characters to keep up even a little.

In my experience reading fanfics and novels with systems, the biggest problem authors have is managing secondary characters that remain relevant, due to how powerful the protagonists become at a speed that frankly no one can hope to keep up with. Although difficult, if you can pull this off, you could fix that fatal flaw of other works and make something that is really good.

Fortunately I continued reading this great story and I already saw a little of how you managed to keep the story from being isolated around Naruto, which was quite nice. In my humble opinion, the strong point of this story is how it makes the secondary characters feel important and identifiable to you, nice detail to add hobbies by the way. As for Hiruzen and Dragon's conversation, it does need a little polishing, but it's nice to see that you're open to criticism.

I understand Danzo wanting to manipulate Naruto and get him into his clutches by having him join the Anbu. What I find forced is how Hiruzen didn't find it odd how practically obsessive Dragon sounded during the conversation. He was clearly forcing it, resorting to very clear attacks trying to use guilt on Hiruzen and even threatened him at the end. What the hell did Hiruzen think? "Oh, it's just another standard recruitment strategy." Personally I don't like the whole Anbu thing, mainly because it's going to isolate the story to revolve around Naturo and his missions, leaving out all the characters we've grown attached to so far.
