The very first joke that’s been carried
As I been reading books for a long time, especially those with being in a new world, the very first chapter hit me hard, I never read something quite like it, that gets me sucked in. I must say that even in the 400s, the book still keeps it charm, only issue I’ll have if it is considered one. The character feels like they haven’t made to huge of a impact yet, but as the story goes on, he comes back bigger and better after every retreat or defensive battle, I’m assuming it’ll continue to be defensive battles until around the mid point of the war, I do hope for there to be more world building as having targeted Missiles that work by praying is a very out there concept and it makes me worried for how it’ll be explained once we reach that point. Otherwise, I love the side characters and while a good portion die, the deaths tend to contribute to the story or at the very least the theme, I’m happy we still have survivors from the first battle.
That’s not established yet in this novel if it is going to be
i would probably only ever play human if it's all balanced out, i don't like being able to have use in all situations
feels rushed asf but it is what it is

I spent the last week and a half binge reading, the author introduced so many characters, only for them to never show up again or even be mentioned, like the MC cousin, the Mu girl, the terrifyin beasts (most of them including the fusion Realm Wolf), they also had a lot of questioning scenes, like when the MC forced himself on people and they automatically love him??? Then you have all the racism at the start-mid section, it tones down later on, but it almost made me drop the book, Only reason I finished this book was because the time I spent was insane, this book isn’t worth it. If someone took this book and decided to do a remake, I would whole heartedly support it, getting rid of the useless sections, giving more lore and call backs to old characters, and continuing the story of our MC, and also giving some attention to his Son would be dope, there was a lot they could of expand on but they decided to leave things vague, although I do like how they explained the Realm system, that was the thing that I really enjoyed, otherwise not worth the read or brainrot 🫡 - a man with to much time on his hands
So doomsday pillars and this book MC wont meet?
