Yeah but since there's calligraphy in Soul society, it means the art itself should have existed for a long time. Yamamoto has been doing calligraphy for over 1000 years. No way in hell is someone who learned calligraphy for only about 15 something years is better than him.

It's kinda unrealistic when you know soul society existed for millions of years and Yamamoto alone is over 2000 years old. No way in hell would he be surprised by MCs calligraphy.

When chinese MCs gain power, they usually become the most self centered person in the world. They are only surrounded by girls and have no male friends as they consider male friendship gay. I can sadly see that happening to this MC also.
