Nah, it's fine. I'll only split them if they go over 4k words long. I'm trying to keep an avg chapter length of 2k - 2,5k words, though most of the time it goes over that. And you're right, it's because I tend to be too descriptive xD.

That's still something I'm thinking about. I have different ideas bouncing around. For example, I was thinking of introducing the MC as an estranged brother/cousin of the Cha family who's been in coma for a long time. Maybe an illegitimate child of Yeong Gu? Or maybe I could simply have the main character die and wake up in the body of a very young OC? So that we can see his development and growth and relationships unfold with some spicy drama. I don't know.

It'll be mostly the same. Even if I replace Dae Ho as the main character's body, the story will still go in the same-ish direction. Though the main problem here is that if do give the MC an OC body, I'll have to rewrite almost all chapters.
