Obviously, if you beat your child with no sense rhyme or reason, I completely agree. There needs to be a good reason for the beating and the child needs to understand the reason before implementing said beating. The seriousness of the beating must also correspond to the infraction of course. I believe corporal punishment in excess is bad, no matter the reason but at the same time, sparing the rod can also be considered an indulgence to a certain extent. Especially if they deserve it and they are also aware of the fact.

Here is a great idea I hope you will truly consider. It’s been said that final fantasy 10 is considered the past while final fantasy 7 is the present. In 10-2, Shinra was considered the founder of present day Shinra. Why not find a way to have him time warp into the past and defeat sin and prevent tidus from floating away into a dream again. That ending never sit well with me.
