Why do authors like to have characters shout their technique? It just doesn't make sense

Unfortunately, I don't. I will try to search for it in my reading list.

This is so much like another novel I read here, where people travel between worlds. In the other novel, the mc was a prisoner in World 2. The other novel focused more on martial arts, while this one focuses on the supernatural and superpowers. Both are well written.

If it is good, why did you give it one star?

Was Mr Hanze recruited by another school, since he met his master 53 years ago while the school was built on the location of a war that happed 30 years ago? Or is it that there is a 30 year gap between the war and the time the book was written?

This is just another trash novel. It's one of those stories written by authors who want to make quick cash. There is a lack of common sense, quick tempered MC , dimwits of other characters among other other features of trash novels. Plus it has one thing I truely hate,a combination of technology in martial world.

Not so good. The story is rushed .I feels like the author was just writing using templates with the aim of making some quick cash. Don't waste your time with this one.

This novel is quite boring. Especially if you have read similar eastern fantasy novels. Too much explanation no suspense(no cliffhangers) or trill. Nothing exciting happens in the first 15 chapters so I dropped it. On to the next one.

i thought the MC was supposed to be smart.
