It doesn't have any young masters nor face slaps, so those facts alone make it a better novel than most.
I think the reason why the MC has no animosity is because the sect master is almost a second system to him. Later on, she checks on him regularly and gives him little gifts/presents (after kicking his ass for one reason or another). As for having no resentment in the beginning, my headcanon is that the MC is just a robot in a human body. He doesn't really seem to have any desire or hatred towards anyone at all; he just goes with the flow.
This novel is somewhat better than the Turquoise Pond/Kunlun Saint novel, but not by much. The MC suffers from the same problems as the author's previous novel, that being: 1. The MC is very reactionary and doesn't actively do anything. Our MC is in a demonic sect where 95% of the sect wants him dead, yet he just farms and doesn't take steps to reduce dangers in the future. Inevitably, our MC gets taken advantage of by someone then he gets revenge on them secretly. This is a recurring theme in this novel and happens every time new antagonists are introduced (every 30-50 chapters). It was interesting the first time, but having the same thing occur semi-regularly just shows that our MC isn't exactly that smart. 2. The MC has no personality. Our MC doesn't feel any emotions, and he doesn't seem to have any desires whatsoever. The author tries to explain this away by saying the demoness fed him a Yang Gu (makes him only feel emotions for her) but that's just a bs excuse. You could replace the MC with a robot and almost nothing would change in this novel. I consider his lack of emotions/personality to be the biggest weakness of this novel. 3. Everything our MC has is granted by the system, he doesn't have any unique skills or talents acquired by his own efforts/intelligence. Enough said. Even with all of these flaws, this novel is still one of the better novels in this site so I consider it to be a decent junk food novel. 3/5
You need to go on different sites, here are some website recommendations: Questionable Questing, Royal Road, Fanfiction (the website), Scribblehub, Space Battles.
So basically in this novel, the villainess, who I will refer to as "boss" from now on, is the strongest and richest character so the MC just plans to hug her thighs and simp for her. By simping I don't mean that he just praises her, he has a full-on masochist fetish, licks her feet, and likes being stepped on by her. And that's basically the whole plot of the lower realm - MC using his luck cheat and just bullying the lucky protagonists while also simping for his boss' feet. However, this changes as soon as they enter the upper realm. The MC doesn't use his cheat as much and the author forces drama into the novel to break up the relationship between the MC and the boss (temporarily?). Honestly, that's where I stopped reading because I knew everything would go downhill from there. TL;DR this novel is good for degenerates who like MCs who hug a villainess' thighs, but only upto ~ch 200. After that it has some forced drama injected by the author which ruins the novel.
'The fruit of lowering OQ is ripe' bruh. Looks like this mfer found MTL novels. \
can't wait for the next chapter
The editors don't seem to understand the basics of English grammar. There are also numerous spelling mistakes. Overall the translation quality is below average
Can we change the translation team somehow? The current translations are terrible, and I suspect they aren't even editing at all
