Yes and no. If you compare real humans, running up right is easier for us as we evolved that way so that means faster as well. If humans could alter their bodies they will be probably faster but have less endurance by crawling.

So, you can have a huge amount of spirit power but without a strong comprehension of your laws, your damage output is not as strong as it should be.

Regarding the spirit power, yes, but in combat, Hei is stronger. Furthermore, Lian was delayed in her cultivation, starting at the same time as Hei. So they are more less the same regarding spirit power since they use also the same cultivation technique. Lian is just a bit faster than Hei, that's all. The difference is marginal.
