not sure but the most original is reverentzero on fanfic.net. i just took the start without changing much and diverged with the story. I really liked the world setting. my writing style honestly doesn't do justice for the setting, because i can't truly go too dark even if i tried but i enjoyed how i went with it.

As mentioned in the aux chapter, pokemon won just evolve, they need to accumulate enough energy to evolve. stone can help in evolving some pokemon, pokemon types, and there natural growth rates determine the evolution. this is what is different from the anime and games. onix is not near yet.
