That's not even true, you clearly have not read enough to comment on this . This is also an AU fan fic, more realistic take on the Naruto world with many differences from the manga or anime. You would be foolish sitting around doing nothing as a villager. It's fine if you only enjoy power fantasy slop, but it's silly to write negative reviews when you've read just about nothing at all and clearly are not even the target audience for the type of novel.

It's not even close to the best Pokemon fic, you need to check out other websites. Not sure if you are allowed to advertise them on this platform so it's up to you to find them but a few good Pokemon fics I've found are Like No One Ever Was, and The Type Specialist, among others. Sadly the Pokemon novels here are pretty mid in comparison.

I find the idea of specialist trainers far more interesting, as they need to learn to cover their weaknesses. However, with the lack of Pokemon options in this version of the Pokemon world, I don't think it's worth it. That said, a generalist gym is unique and something I've never seen before in a fan fic.

I'd also choose Kanto. I loved Sinoh and Hoenn more but Kanto is the OG, and a pretty balanced place to start out compared to the more extreme regions.

True, while most people seem to love Charzard x I really like Charzard Y. It makes him look how cool Charzard looked to me as a kid. I feel like in a novel/real-world type situation like this Charmander is the worst choice. Blastoise with it's cannons and bulk would be crazy good while Venasaur would be a walking warcrime. So many amazing Pokemon get held back in the games due to the 4 move limit and how you take turns hitting one another, outside of the games changes things.

I totally agree, I feel like people go for those over used tropes rather than just make it a normal character in the world for some reason even if it makes little sense to the story.

Looks pretty bad ngl, not the best colors for that material sadly. I'm a huge fan of black and gold but it just does not look good here.
