generic shenhao system, mc doesn't do anything noteworthy, no harem, no arrogant young second generation masters, it is different than other shenhao novels but at the same time the story doesn't seem to progress, very boring tbh.

I have read this novel till 300 chapters, it currently has around 325 released chapters on qidian. It has a lot of fight scenes, story develops very rapidly, the MC gets very powerful but there are more powerful warriors that haven't been introduced yet but mentioned plenty of times in the previous chapters. The arcs end very rapidly & are very interesting, the fights are very intriguing & since it is a military based drama, there's bound to be racism. There are some tropes that get introduced in 300 chapters that make this urban change into fantasy, they haven't been implemented yet as of 309 chapters i have read.basically it is good i liked it but might not be to your liking, if you're not into action packed fighting supernatural novels with a touch of racism.

Profound Review System Activated Loading Review! 1% 19% 39% 69% 89% 100% Ding! System Activated! Please Read Review! The man who transmigrated into a fantasy world was a fool. He desired peace, yet he risked his life by hunting monsters. He was a contradiction, a paradox, a conundrum. But the world was not a peaceful place. It was a world of conflict and strife. And the man knew that he could not escape it. He could not hide from it. He could only face it head-on. And so, he became a hunter of monsters. He fought for his peace, even though it meant risking his own life. He fought for his harmony, even though it meant facing the chaos of the world. He fought for his balance, even though it meant walking the edge of a knife. But he was also a fool. He was a fool to think that he could find peace in a world of chaos. He was a fool to think that he could fight for harmony in a world of strife. He was a fool to think that he could walk the edge of a knife and not fall. And so, he fell. He fell into the darkness, and he was lost. He was lost to the world, and he was lost to himself. And that is the story of the fool who thought he could find peace in a world of chaos. It is a story of hope, and it is a story of failure. It is a story that we should all learn from, so that we do not make the same mistakes as him and simply choose the combat talent with heavenly phenomenon like a normal f*cking transmigrator. Alas, poor Lin Yi! I knew him, Horatio, a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy. He hath borne me on his back a thousand times, and now, how abhorred in my imagination it is! My gorge rises at it. Here hung those lips that I have kissed I know not how oft. Where be your gibes now, your gambols, your songs, your flashes of merriment, that were wont to set the table on a roar? Not one now, to mock your own grinning? Quite chapfallen? Now get you to my lady's chamber, and tell her, let her paint an inch thick, to this favour she must come. Make her laugh at that. Prithee, Horatio, tell me one thing. What was Lin Yi's occupation? A jester, Horatio. A fool. A man who made readers laugh. But what was he really? Was he a man of peace, or a man of war? Was he a man of laughter, or a man of tears? I think he was both. He was a man of contradictions. He was a man who could make readers laugh, even when they were sad. He was a man who could make readers find the humor in any situation, even the most tragic. Yes, even if a character is initially portrayed as the most overpowered (OP) in a novel or story, they can still undergo character development. Character development involves changes in a character's personality or traits over the course of a story. A character who starts out as highly capable or powerful might begin to question their own abilities, develop emotional depth, gain empathy or understanding for others, or change in other ways that help them grow as a character. Even for the most overpowered characters, there are often many facets of their personality or experiences that can be explored and developed in ways that enhance the story and their interactions with other characters. By showing the character's vulnerabilities, weaknesses, or flaws, the story can become more engaging and compelling, and the character can become more relatable and realistic. Thus, regardless of how powerful or invincible a character may seem at the outset, there is still the potential for interesting and dynamic character development.
