Good to see that your keeping the divine beasts and story pretty close to actual lore. It's also good that you picked Nidhogg over Fafnir since according to the setting in the story with the MC he would never be able to summon Fafnir and instead August would be more likely to summon Fafnir. This is because Fafnir was never a dragon, far from it in fact and instead it's modern media that depicts Fafnir as a dragon. In actual fact Fafnir was a dwarf that was part of a family of shapeshifters that could take the form of any beast or animal. It was just that taking the form of a dragon/lindwurm was the strongest form Fafnir could take and was the form he took to protect his treasure. But in the legends about Fafnir it also depicts him turning into other animals as well to spy on people. Also while I haven't read far enough yet to know about the fifth familiar it would have been nice to see the addition of for instance the rainbow serpent also known as Ayida-Weddo it's a divine beast from africa that is a giant serpent with parts of it's body making up a storm. It's main power revolves around water and storm, which would help with agriculture though it's powers are very diverse going everywhere from shapeshifting, creation, destruction, chaos and order, powers over life and death, dream manipulations, weather control/manipulation, earth manipulation and fertility.
