No. She is more useful than Aqua, even comparing her to Aqua is nonsense. Yes before the closure of Arc in Fontaine, many feel like that (I didn't though, I like her character since the beginning, and after the closure and her story quest, I like her more), but after the Arc in Fontaine end, many come to like her, and there is no more mention of comparing her to Aqua. Furina is a very respectable person, is it shown in the game too (after the closure, many character in the game find her very respectable for what she had done for Fontaine). I want to elaborate more but it will became spoiler in that case. Yes she has been misunderstood by many either in game or in real life, but that the beauty of Mihoyo, making that kind of character possible. I'm myself cry when it came to the closure of Fontaine, cause yeah I'm really feel for a character that do a sacrifice for a greater good (the one being sacrifice is themselves, and with kind intention too, not the one like Danzo that only talks)

For Writing Quality, for me it is already good enough for reading so that 5 star, in story development, it is slow in the beginning and it will progress more faster at the later chapter so it alright for me (for the one who want to know when it will begin, it was on 200 chapter in the raw, to be exact when the MC arrive at True Treasure Pavillion Headquarter), and for me that another 5 star (yeah I don't have any prejudice with story as long as it is didn't scream plot armor at every moment with bad storytelling). For character design, don't bother, even I who read the raw didn't know what appearance they have (the MC, and his wives, and his acquaintance), I only know their name, so that 3 star for me (yeah it was my pity to grade that high). For updating it was 5 star just because the author still updating the story till this day (the raw at the moment is 313), yeah you really want to grade it 5 star because of that. I already have enough of author who drop the story out of nowhere. For.world background, sadly there wasn't any detail enough beside the usually cultivation info, but it will be better at 250 chapter in calamity arc. So overall it was 4.4 star from me. If you like slice of life with enough realistic kind of experience in cultivation genre then do try to read this, after all you will know that this will mostly focus in slice of life cause of the title, if you want a battle kind of novel, this is not yours taste

Well let me reply then, this can be a spoiler too so beware. To be exact she is half human half demon, and no she isn't a spy, just some circumstances. Yeah the author forgot that about the neutral sect she is in at the later chapter (so just take it as some plot hole and it not important either, so you can forget it). And about being a simp, to be honest this was my prediction cause the author at first literally told us about one of the consequences of her dual cultivation technique. And yeah at later chapter she is in fact do love the MC albeit not that deep, it has love and an obsession of thing (he is mine, but not that deep, just typical of someone in relationship like lover, you know became a thing). Well she isn't mentioned after War in lower realm by the upper realm act though. Because after MC joined a sect in upper realm, the author dropped this story. So yeah, you can take note to that too. For me it was enjoyable enough to read till the latest chapter, but author drop it cause of burnout and not planning the route of story at the start
