3 CHAPTER 3: WHO TOLD HIM IT WON'T HURT?

When Li Weicheng finishes the call, he saw Liqiu looking at him with her doe-like eyes.

"Did I bothered you?" Weicheng asks when he notices she stops eating and just looking at him.

Liqiu shook her head and continued eating. She buried her thoughts on the food and focus on eating. This time it was her phone that rings. Turning her head on the phone on the table, she saw it was a call from her cousin, Ye Jianli. Her hand froze and felt conflicted.

"Don't answer it if you don't want to." she heard Weicheng speak and her head raise towards him.

"But..."

Before she could finish her words, Li Wesiheng already grab the phone and answered it.

"Hello."

On the other line, as soon as a cool voice answered Li Jianli's heart leaped. She instantly knew it was Li Weicheng. Her heart flutters and her face blushed.

"Hello, Mr. Li, how are you?" she asks, she intentionally made her voice soft and seductive. She was a singer and she knows how to play with her voice.

"My wife is currently eating. Ms. Ye, do your parents not told you not to disturb a couple who had just gotten married?"

"Mr. Li, don't misunderstand me, I was just worried about my cousin, is she there? I want to talk to her. Can you pass her the phone?" though she said she wants to talk to Ye Liqiu, she really wants to talk to him more and didn't want him to pass the phone on to her useless cousin.

" No, did Ms. Ye not hear what I said. She's eating and I don't want you to disturb her. Wait until three days had passed, I will bring her back to the Ye Mansion." with that he hangs up the phone and gives it to the maid.

"Throw it, far away," he instructed and look at his little wife who was eating earnestly not caring at all.

"I'll buy you a new phone, don't give your new number to your cousin, I don't really like her." Li Weicheng said authoritatively.

Liqiu raised her little head and look at his frustrated face. She smiled and nods her head.

"Mmm."

Her smile almost blinded his eyes. This was the first time he saw her smiling at him and his heart leaps a thousand times on his chest. He had an urge to pull her out of her chair and put her on his lap and kiss her little mouth.

Li Weicheng cleared his throat and control himself. He took his chopstick and focus his mind on eating, even though what he wants to eat was something else.

After the meal, he returned to the study and answered call after call while Liqiu returned to their room to rest.

Ye Liqiu had her hands on her ears, slightly covering it while her eyes close. She can hear everything inside the house. She can hear Weicheng talking nonstop on his phone. She can hear the maids talking and laughing in the kitchen. She can even hear the cars outside.

After attentively hearing everything thing on her surrounding, she slumps down on the bed and looks at the ceiling. Her face void with any unnecessary emotion. Closing her eyes, she tried to sleep her thoughts away but to no avail, she couldn't sleep at all.

Getting frustrated, she got up from the bed and turned towards the drawer, and pick the bottle of sleeping pills on it. She opens the lid and took a pill. Before she could throw it inside her mouth the door opened and Li Weicheng swiftly strode towards her stopping her hand.

"What is that?" Li Weicheng asks with his brows furrowed.

"This? This is just a sleeping pill. I can't sleep so I usually took it to help me sleep." She explained innocently. Li Weicheng took the pill away from her hand and sniff it. Although there was nothing wrong with the smell, he still felt something was wrong with the pill.

"Don't drink it, I'll have the Nanny bring you a calming tea, next time avoid depending on pills, it's not good for your body." Li Weicheng throws the pill in the nearest garbage bin and took his phone to call someone.

In the next moment, the door was pushed open and Auntie Wu went in with a pot of tea on the tray. She put it on the table and bid them goodnight.

Li Weicheng reaches out and pours a cup for her. Then he blows it five times before passing it to her.

"This tea will make you sleepy, don't take those pills again, alright." He said. Liqiu grabs the cup and the warmth in the cup spreads from her hands to her heart. She felt a little fuzzy and a smile formed on her lips.

"Okay." She readily agreed. She never felt pampered before. With a husband like this, how foolish was she in the past to let this man fall out of her?

"Weicheng, thank you." she blushed, she lowered her head to hide the embarrassment on her face.

Hearing her called his name for the first time, Li Weicheng was stunned. He couldn't believe his ears. His name sound really good on her mouth, her voice was like a violin, soothing and soft.

"You are my wife, what is there to thank for? If you want to thank your husband, how about this?"

Li Weicheng took the cup away from her and put it back on the table before grabbing the back of her head and claimed her lips into a passionate kiss. The kiss starts slow and gentle after a while, Li Weicheng felt it wasn't enough, thus, he probes and deepened the kiss.

Ye Liqiu felt all her limbs turned soft, his warm kiss made her bones turned into jelly. Her heart thumps hard on her chest and she felt warm and secured. The kiss took long until both of them were out of breath. Ye Liqiu's lips were numb and red when Li Weicheng finally let go of her.

He felt satisfied looking rather daze face and her cherry and pouty lips.

"Liqiu, How long have I waited for this day to come." He said in between breaths before going again for the second round of kissing session. Liqiu didn't push him, she let him kissed her and even wrap her arms around his neck and took the initiative to return the kiss.

Li Weicheng's hand dance over her small body, his fingers touching everywhere leaving a hot sensation on her skin. Touching her smooth silky skin, Li Weicheng couldn't take it any longer, discarding his clothes in a swift move, he lowered his body to her. his hand moved slowly and took the liberty to strip her of her nightdress.

Liqiu trembled and shivered at his touch, her eyes were hazy and her breathing thick while her face was red.

"Liqiu, I want you now," Li Weicheng whispered into her ears, making the small hair on her body stood. With their naked body sticking together, Liqiu felt a little uncomfortable and nervous. This wasn't their first time but she couldn't remember what had happened last night except for the pain. Remembering it, her blushing face paled and her body stiffened.

Li Weicheng instantly felt her froze underneath him. He moved to kiss her eyes down to her nose.

"Don't be scared, sweetheart, it won't hurt. I'll be gentler this time." Li Weicheng rained her face with some tiny peck of kisses before claiming her lips again.

"Be a good girl and relaxed sweetheart." His hoarse voice echoed in her ears, he spread her legs lightly and went down to kiss her neck and nibble her collarbone which earns him a moan coming from Liqiu. Hearing her seductive moan, he felt his blood pump with adrenaline, unable to control himself. He moved to enter her core in one go.

Liqiu gives out a small scream, feeling the pain when he entered her. Li Weicheng froze and cursed. Who told him it won't hurt the second time? he reaches a hand to touch her pained face and soothe her once again.

"I'm sorry, I can't control myself."

Liqiu shook her head. biting her lips she opens her eyes and looks at the man before her.

"It doesn't hurt anymore." She said in a small voice. Li Weicheng looks at her with worry in his eyes.

"Are you sure?" he asks once again.

"Mmm." She nods her head.

"Alright, then I'll move slower this time." Li Weicheng did all his best to control his movement, he moves slower and gentler making Liqiu lost her mind at the sensation she was feeling. She felt herself being lifted in the sky as their body moves in sync.

"Liqiu sweetheart, I can't take it. Can I go faster?" Weicheng moves his hips faster without waiting for her response. Liqiu grabs his shoulder and bit on it.

"It's alright, don't worry, it doesn't hurt, you can bite me." Following his movements, Liqiu reaches her climax and bit down hard on his shoulder to stop herself from making a loud sound.

The room became hot with their heated encounter. Liqiu felt her body weakened and she doesn't have the energy left to move. Weicheng looks at her and chuckled. He lifted her and brought her to the tub and wash her body with warm water.

Coaxing her to sleep, Weicheng tucks her on the newly made bed and puts a kiss on her lips for the last time.
