7 chapter-5 (stuck between water and fire-part 1)

"Sunday"

Nina and Cha Eun-woo we're invited to dinner by Mr Lee at his place. Nina was amazed to see the mansion! the front yard of the house well maintained and different types of flowers were planted in the yard attracting passerby to admire and fall in love with them. no less, the interior design of the house can make one jaw drop from admiration. but this magnificent home feels lonely and incomplete for some reason.

"sadness"

Nina couldn't remain calm seeing the look of Mr.lee her father in law. sadness clouded Mr lee's face and even when it covers with a smile she easily recognizes it. somewhat it troubles her, the way the father and son exchange words were way too formal it shows very clear that something had happened for this very act. it's like a business meeting rather than a family dinner.

thanks to Nina's friendliness nature the dinner went smooth. she was glad to clear the atmosphere and continue the conversation with Mr lee though most of her talks were ridiculous at some point.

she felt like she saves the World!

after dinner, they were there for a little while and went home! the car ride was quiet and like usual they did not talk. from the car's rear-view mirror she could find Eunwoo with a pissed look. have I done something wrong? it's a shame to find a frown, pissed look in a handsome face yet it's a shame that he looks more handsome and cooler.

throughout the night her mind is occupied with full of worries!

how is your college-going on? and if Eunwoo offends you don't hesitate to call me and I am very much sorry for his rude behaviour. sigh! Eunwoo used to be a cheerful kid, we got along pretty well but unfortunately, after his mother passed away he changed and his resentment towards me grew as time goes on. as you can see this big house is empty and lonely without him.

mr. lee's words keep ringing inside her head she couldn't shake away this sadness, it touches her heart to hear that Cha Eun-woo lost his mother at a young age. she couldn't even imagine how hurt and lonely he might felt all these years.

Monday-

I am sorry! professor, I was late because I couldn't stop the bus! she lied though it's partly true yet she didn't mention that her late riser habits are the main reasons of her arriving late.

well, I'll excuse you for today but her speech halted giving her a sharp and piercing look 'never make it twice' the professor warned. some of her classmates were murmuring one another while keeping their eyes glued to Nina. feeling embarrassed Nina hides her face by blocking the views with the help of her bag and recognise she's alone in 3rd row as her previous seatmates shifted their place to another.

I hate Monday!

moodily she walks around the campus after two of her classes ended and spots a place to sit. the green leaves of trees move together with the wind as if singing together celebrating the spring season. likewise, many students were outside enjoying this beautiful spring season. Nina chose a shady place to sit, luckily some furniture were placed around the park for resting purpose and it's so peaceful and calm that some people could be seen studying there.

she took out instant noodles from her bag which she bought from the convenience store earlier and a hydro flask water bottle. being a late riser she couldn't make time to prepare breakfast let alone a lunchbox. she sighs college cafeteria is expansive!. mr. lee did give her monthly allowance but she used it for essential purposes like grocery, books, bus fare etc but she kind of feel shy to spent it freely and worried that the money would run out before the expected date so as far as possible she tries to manage it.

'slurping'

so good! she complement slurping the noodles soup. Korean instant noodles are the best she said not leaving a single piece of it.

at that moment?

to her surprise came a guy who could take away every girl breath and even her, she couldn't avert her eyes. his tall and lean muscular structure, his face, his aura, his fashionable outfits his everything attracts her enabling her to stay focus.

she admires his handsome appearance, she doesn't like him though.

Eunwoo! she pronounces staring at him dumbfounded. oh, you're here as I thought to be! he said with sarcasm, he looks around the place; took a long breath ' spring' he whispered as if remembering something. for a brief moment, she caught him looking at the noodles cup lying on the table. you! he said, ah forget it! you're wasting my time. take this! you left inside my car yesterday and threw a panda key chain towards her.

wait, she stops him as he starts to walk back. what's the matter? he asks with little annoyance slightly turning his head towards her. she bites her lower lip and smiles awkwardly 'thank you' Cha Eun-woo she appreciated. forget it he answered with an eye roll.

then something unexpected occurs -

there you are! son of a bitch! a guy with a fury aura who is ready to attack calls out to Eun-woo with a smirk on his face and painted a sinister smile on his face." long time bastard".
