The hunter

As I was following them I started to get hungry

(Well now I'm hungry) I thought (well that makes sense since I have not been hunting at all)

As I was thinking if I should go hunting or stay with them since they may go a long way before I even come back I saw that they stopped and they where going to set camp

"Sarah and jack you go and hunt some monsters so we have some food and while you are doing that find out what is following us" the leader said

"Yes sir" said Sarah the bear woman and jack the human that shot the arrow

(Looks like they are setting camp her and that those two are going to hunt then I guess I will to) I thought as I closed my eyes to focus on all the things I could hear and I heard something that sounds like a rabbit

(Well it is about 10m away from me and those two who when to hunt they will probably be back later then me since they need to hunt the animals here so that they can feed all 10 of them which is a lot more food to hunt then if it was for one person) I thought (well let's go I just hunt two)

When I was near the rabbits I lied down and got as close as I could without scaring them away as I thought of water bending a small ball came out and I formed another ball and then shaped them to look like arrows and pointed the arrows at the rabbits and after some time I shot the arrows and the rabbits got hit and died right away

(Alright let's just eat this one and go back to where they camped with the other one) I thought

When I got back I jumped up a tree and I saw that they where done with setting the camp up and they where already cooking some meat but I wonder where the bear women and I'm the male human went but I kept felling like I was being watched

I stood up and look at another tree branch and stared at it for some time before I lied back down to eat the rabbit that I had

(That was close) ??? Thought to them self (so that is the creature that is following us guess as long as we don't attack it it won't come after us and try to kill us but what is it? Is it a leopard or a jaguar since they look almost the same and I don't know how to tell them apart)

??? Hopped back down and went to their leader "leader" ??? Said "the animal that is following us is a leopard or a jaguar since I don't know the difference between them but I think they won't hurt us as long as we don't hurt them first and I think that animal is going to follow us all the way to the city"

"Good job" said the leader "but don't you think that we should try and tame the animal pearl"

Pearl who was a raccoon just stood there

"are you sure" said pearl "I know that you have always wanted a contract with an animal in that way you don't need to be so weary where ever you might go but it will be very surprising if you who is a deer a herbivore and that animal who is a carnivore actually get a contract"

"Yes that I know and I will try but if they don't want to I can't force them since they would probably kill me" said the leader "and I will start be putting food where the fireplace is and then maybe move it to my tent little be little and then after that I will make my present show and when I can get close to the point that I don't have to think maybe it is going to run away from me or that it is going to bite me then I will try to get a contract between us"

"You do you" said the raccoon "I can't change something that you have set you mind to"

As i look to my right I see the bear women and the other human coming back with a lot of animals (look's like they are back now) I thought

I then when to sleep and when it was night I got up I jumped down from the tree and stretch since I felt very much stiff and as I was ready to jump back up to the tree I smelled something

As I was going to the place where the smell came from I saw a bowl made of wood and there was some meat in it

(This is something knew) I thought as I when and took a closer look

(Wow so it was a leopard that was in the tree I guess it jumped down to stretch and then smelled the meat) the deer leader thought

As the days where passing the leader keep putting the meat out side and every two days he would move the bowl a little by little til one day he decided to show himself

(Let's see if the meat is again today) I thought (this as become a routine now)

As I was walking to the bowl where the meat was at I saw someone at a tree just standing there I started at him for some time to see if this someone who was going to attack me but then my own instinct went on and told me to fight or flight since my cover is completely gone and me not knowing what to do I just went closer to this person since I could now see the figure in front of me and I stopped so some distance was between us

(This is probably going to be the closest I am going to get to this leopard) the deer leader thought as he was shaking a little bit since his instinct went on and told him to run away as fast as possible since the leopard would be surprised be the sudden movement and I just studded there

Then suddenly the leopard jumped on the deer leader and he was terrified that the leopard was going to eat him instead the leopard who was standing on her hind legs just sniffed at him and then just let him go while she goes to the bowl to eat the meat that was there

The deer leader fell to his legs since they where shaking very much

(I guess now I can say that I have got my first near death experience) the deer leader thought to himself

When the leopard was done eating it went back to the tree and took a nap
