Chapter 4: After Graduation Party

"Mom, shouldn't we be going somewhere…you know, more party like." Conner said as he looked around his house. Chips, Beans, rice, and beer was placed on the table. His mother never was really a fast cook, she would slowly take her time, but in the end was worth it. The reason she only had stuff that could be picked up in the first section of a store, was because Conner told her extremely late. Like extremely late, yesterday date late. He assumed they knew, so he just went with it. His mother skipped work and his father dropped everything to see their son. They made quite the scene at school, they were chased by a group of officers in a high speed chase. Luckily his father was a street racer, so no one was injured.

"Nope" Joseph said as he crossed his arm.

"You did it to yourself…think of it as punishment. In fact why do you want to go? We would probably spend more time waiting than eating, right?" Mary asked a good question.

"…Your right" Conner didn't deny his mother

"I know, now sit and chug a nice can of disgusting beer." Mary said as she pushed Conner on the couch.

Joseph was already sitting down. He picked up the remote and flicked through the channels. He couldn't find anything so he just picked old reliable…

"Netflix? What do you think this?" Mary snatched the remote from her husband

"A graduation party?" Joseph asked while while pulling his chin hair.

"Tch! Hulu is better" Mary changed it to hulu.

"What! You would pick hulu over netfilx?" Joseph was shocked

"I just did." Mary smirked

Joseph sighed and turned to his son.

"Which one is better Conner?"

Mary glanced over as well.

"Crunchyroll" Conner leaned back as if he had just won a great battle

"Ugh!" Mary made a noise

"Ugh!" Joseph made a similar noise.

They couldn't deny it.

In the end they ended up watching a new movie on anime, it only released today.

"Why aren't you drinking beer Conner?." Mary said with narrowed eyes

"I can't dr-" Conner tried to say

"Ah!" Conner's father cut him off.

"Yeah, listen to him." Mary said as she downed a beer.

"Conner, no one is here. Just chug it down, before I force it down. Back in my day…if you didn't drink, you were a wimp." Joseph passed the can to his son

"Yep, chug it wimp." Mary said as she shook her empty can.

Conner sighed, but a smile formed on his face as he downed a beer.

"Yeah!! That's what I'm talking about. Hahaha!" Joseph watched happily as his son drank the beer.

[Ring] [Ring] [Ring] [Ring] [Ring]

"What is their problem? I heard it the first time." Mary got up from the couch in the living room and went towards the front door, down the hall.

"I think it's another scammer."Conner said after blurping

"Probably…They seem to-" He cut himself off

[Bang]

The eyes of Joseph and Conner opened. The sounds of feet rushing could be heard, someone fell before getting back up in a hurry.

Mary dashed back into the room.

"Son! The girl you lost your virginity to is here! She brought friends!
