Chapter 16: Discarded History

The goddess successfully fooled the god and escaped from the grounds of Uriah, after escaping, the downfall of the gods was expected. The goddess lived with the other 5 goddesses that helped her in the land that was named after her. They lived in those lands for years waiting for their soul to awake but it didn't so they handed their souls to a God that they had known and handed them the authority for those souls to work on their system.

After seeing what the god had created Niara was inspired by its arts and created humans in the land of Niara but was a little different than the other god made Niara created a magic system for the people of her land and gave the other goddess freedom to create species that was beyond one's imagination.

After completing what had to be done Niara split her lands into six and is now known as Mahara, Termiha, Una Historia, Nuncha, Sabervin, and Solamente formerly known as the city of  Sleverbe.

During Niara's days in her lands, she led an army named Hamarja. The army's mission was to keep all species in peace. The uniforms that people had known for their design that is described to be a heart with a piercing sword the meaning of it is uncertain as the goddess was describing it as an art of frustration.

Her years in Niara ended and together with the 6 other goddesses, Verine, Varuni, Mirha, Avirha, Lucia, and Guevin decided to go to a place unknown to all species except someone breaking the code of each continent. Brows knit together, "Too bad this history has been changed." A knock on the door was heard as they looked up, the door opened itself, and the servant whose eyes on the ground reported, "Your Grace, Count Mark have arrived."

"Hmmm, let him in here."

Celestine POV— Throughout the chapter, she will be called Hinaya since she's on Earth

Muffled voices of people as she slowly collects her consciousness, she slowly opened her eyelids, her vision was blurry.

Her headache so she closed her eyes again. She opened her eyes and the figure of her grandmother fell to her eyes. "Nana?"

She said in a raspy weak voice, her Nana smiled at her, "Maya, you're finally awake. I'll call the doctor." Her grandma said having a rough accent.

Her grandma quickly gets up from her chair and goes to the door, while her grandmother was out of the room she looked around and saw her grandfather, his palms on his forehead, and was sitting on the couch before the window.

"Lolo, hi I'm not dead yet." She said as she guided herself up. Her grandfather looked up at her and saw her guiding herself to sit.

"Iha, kamusta na ang pakiramdam mo?" Her grandfather said in Filipino which can be translated to, Dear, how are you feeling.

"Okay, lang naman. I'm just having a headache." She replied in 2 languages.

Translation- I'm okay.

"Good to hear that, I'm sorry about your friend." Her grandfather said as he bounced up from the couch.

"Hmmm? Oh, it's all good. I'm glad she had her dreams come true" She replied mumbling her last sentence.

"That's good to hear," He paused and sighed. "We're planning to take you to the Philippines with us but before that, we'll have to talk to your father and stepmom."

"Wait, stepmom? What do you mean by that?" She questioned the rasp still in her voice and confusion taking over her.

"...They got married." Her grandpa announced to her while hesitating.

"How many months have I been away? No, I mean sleeping?" She questioned again.

"1 year and 2 months." After his words, her grandma enters the room with the doctors on her side.

The room became quiet and the doctors started to check on Hinaya. After they checked on her they talked about how many weeks she'll be staying in the hospital. After that, they got out of the room and 3 of them started to talk about her father and her stepmom.

"Grandma, when did they wed?" She questions, back to her normal voice.

"Hmmm? Who dear?" Her grandma walks to her side and caresses her hair.

"Nathaniel Rodrigo and Liàng." She said her father's full name with no hesitation.

"You told her?" Her grandma turned her head to her grandpa. "Emanuel, kakagising niya lang!" Her grandma shouted.

Translation: Emanuel, she just woke up!

"Grandma, that's okay. Please answer my question. Please." She begged her grandma hoping her attention would go to her.

"They got married after 5 months of you sleeping in this bed."

"And they didn't invite this paralyze person?" She chuckled, "They're scared I'll ruin it? Not that I won't ruin it but like I'm offended."

"We were not invited too. Iha, so you're not alone." Her grandma answered back and caressed her cheeks.

"Too bad I wasn't there, oh well I'll just ruin their life then." She said smiling with a chuckle looking into her grandmother's eyes.

"I'll leave you two." His grandfather said in a daze.

"Naya, you should slow down. You don't want to injure yourself again." A second of flicker was there in her brown eyes.

"Varuni? Avirha? Guevin? I know you are not my grandma." Hinaya said, looking at the window distance away from them.

"You're quick, have some respect for older people," Varuni said, grinning.

"Well, what do you expect from a straight-A student? And there's no need to give my respect to them, they're pieces of shit." Hinaya replied, looking back to her eyes and returning a smile to her.

"What do I expect from a straight-A student? Well, I expect her to have her curiosity in place." She reminded her of the time of the doors. "And I agree with your last statement."

"Thank you," Hinaya said leaning back to her bed. "My grandfather heard that?"

"De nada, and your grandpa? He stopped listening after those remarks of yours, don't worry." After the goddess, she turned around and sat on the couch. "Your room is nice."

Translation: you're welcome

"Yeah, it's all my great grandpa's money, he was wealthy when he was alive."
